Glad to be back here to share with you a little of my experience at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association)  2018 in Las Vegas. For those of you who don't know about SEMA, Google it and check it out. If you love cars, even like cars, or are any way related to the automotive industry, SEMA is by far the world wide leader in everything aftermarket automotive, from A -Z. Cool Harbor Nights Car Show is on winter break and will return Thursday, April 4th, 2019. I look forward to seeing many of you there.

Welcome to Cool Harbor Nights. We host a monthly car show on the first Thursday of each month (April-November), in Half Moon Bay, which is free to everyone, participants and spectators. You'll see cars, trucks, motorcycles and other interesting rarities. It's truly a family friendly show with no requirements, or restrictions, on type of vehicle, age, condition, etc., for participants. If you'd like to bring it, please do. It's great that we often have the opportunity to watch over the months, as people restore their vehicles. Happy New Year to all! On Thursday, January 7th, we held our monthly Cool Harbor Nights Car Show at Pillar Point Harbor, Half Moon Bay, CA. The day got off to a dark and somewhat wet start, but it ended up clearing and the weather during the show was as good as we might hope for in a year when we are actually getting some rain. Thanks to all of the faithfuls that showed up and took a chance on the rain.

We will return for our next show on the first Thursday of the month, February 4th, from 3pm - sunset. Hope you can join us in front of Princeton Seafood Company for this fun event which is free to everyone.

We had some clouds at Thursday's Cool Harbor Nights show, which at first looked like rain, but they cleared away for most of the afternoon, leaving us with some not too bad weather. It certainly was not as warm as it had been the last several months, but we had plenty of die hards show up. A good time was had by all. Thanks to all of you who came.

I spent the weekend following at Hot August Nights in Reno. They too had overcast skies, but mostly from the nearby fires. Friday night was not too busy, but horrible traffic conditions due to an accident certainly contributed. The rest of the weekend was very busy, with over 6,000 cars registered.

This has truly been an incredible year for weather, as well as attendance at our car shows. Thursday July 2nd we were once again overflowing the parking lot in front of Princeton Seafood Company. A great time was had by all. On Saturday, July 4th we participated in the Half Moon Bay 4th of July parade. We had a great turn out for the parade, as well as fantastic weather that day also. Please check out the SEMA website and see our pictures celebrating National Collector Car Appreciation Day. We have a whole page full of pictures.

Another great show last month. The weather has been fantastic and the turnouts very large. We are preparing for our next show on Thursday, July 2, 2015. We will also be participating in the Half Moon Bay 4th of July parade on Saturday, July 4, 2015. The parade will be on Main Street and will begin at 12, noon. Hope you can join us for both. As always, there is no charge for either. Bring your family and enjoy these events.
